Designer Spotlight: Heike Jarick
The Background
German born designer Heike Jarick graduated with honors from Central Saint Martin’s School of Design in London. After embarking on a journey that took her across the world, Heike moved to Milan where she designed for Luciano Soprani, Krizia and Trussardi. While relocating to New York in the early 90's,
Heike fine-tuned her craftsmanship skills at Anne Klein and Searle which brought Heike to debut her first collection in 1999 in New York. In addition to creating and managing her design firm, she also is Design director for Via Spiga and DKNY outerwear.
The Designer
Heike Jarick’s collection is much like the designer herself-fascinated with the past and enthralled with the future.Jarick’s signature collection is heralded for couture craftsmanship along with along with cutting edge fabric treatments and off kilter cuts. Her eye is impeccable and her skill flawless.
Jarick’s world of fantasy is boundless and is expressing itself in the femininity and intriguing sensuality of the woman she has in mind when she creates.
