Fashion Designer Jenni Kayne was born in Los Angeles, California where she has established her namesake label and emerged as one of fashions’ youngest and most flourishing designers. During her adolescence, Jenni recognized fashion as a medium of self expression, developing a unique sense of style that resonates.

To take her passion for design to the next level, Jenni committed herself to formal study of costume design at Boston University continuing on at Otis to study fashion. She eventually decided to forge a more conventional path, traveling to Italy to gain first hand perspective and insight with Italian fashion designer Ettore Veronese, of Zegna, and manufacturing conglomerate Guiseppe Marzotto. In the time spent working with Mr. Veronese and Marzotto, Jenni gained vital knowledge and skills that are reflected in her namesake collection.

Jenni is known for her unique style, blending European luxury and sophistication, with casual L.A. chic. Jenni has found inspiration in contrast, contradiction, and exaggeration. Her pieces combine a practical femininity with defiant elegance. In each piece that bears her label, Jenni’s keen appreciation for quality craftsmanship, rich fabrics, and attention to detail is apparent. Her respect for tradition juxtaposed by unconventional details has quickly made the Jenni Kayne brand a coveted staple for fashionistas and women of the world. Jenni recently showed her third collection during L.A. fashion week for the F/W 2004 season to a host celebrities and critical acclaim.
