D’Aria – stand out with something different…

“Relating the term to fashion, d'Aria is a stand out accessory that complements and completes a great outfit! When women wear d'Aria handbags, they are excited to be carrying them. d'Aria handbags are more than an accessory, they are the essential piece to turning all your outfits into your favorite outfit,” says designer Kim Gaxiola of her handbag line. Always keen on the trends Gaxiola spends a lot of time following trends from Italy, France and Spain so their handbags always have the latest look, while making sure the styles are classic enough so they will be popular longer than one season.

The distinct combination of practicality and style is what sets d’Aria handbags apart. With these bags, there is no need to fret over that boring department store purse that fits everything or that trendy purse that is only easy on the eyes. “I make sure our d’Aria handbags have a fun, standout style, but I also make sure they are easy to wear and use,” adds Gaxiola.

The designer has been stopped on the street numerous times and those that have inquired about her handbags have become great clients. People would often buy the handbags right there on the spot! And, clients often tell Gaxiola that her bags have a unique style and fresh look to them. Maybe it’s because she designs them with a certain celebrity in mind – Reese Witherspoon. “The celebrity I most associate my handbags with is Reese Witherspoon. She has a young and fresh look to her and seems very down to earth. Most importantly, she makes looking beautiful effortless...and that's what d'Aria handbags do too,” says Gaxiola.

Her future goals of her company are sure to gain notoriety with her ambition and talent! She’d like to continue establishing the d’Aria name throughout Chicago and continue to work with several fundraisers and charities that promote women and children’s issues-“that’s important to me.” In five years she’d like that recognition to expand into the national fashion scene.
