From an early age, it was evident that Victoria Sdoukos would be a
fashion designing success. Her father was a furrier and her mother
a seamstress, it’s no wonder her path was chosen as a fashion
designer. From the time Victoria was a child, her parents knew she
would become a successful designer someday. “My father would
always say, Vicky is going to be something someday. After my father
passed away, I felt like I was living his dream. He’s the main
motivating factor for me. I’m very passionate about what I do
- I want to make women look beautiful,” says Sdoukos.
Not satisfied with what she saw in the store, Victoria would often
alter the clothes to better suit her unique style and personality.
During the design process, Sdoukos often gets creative inspiration
as she is creating a garment. The inspiration for her Queen Elizabeth
dress was sparked after intense research of the era and being intrigued
with how those dresses were created and constructed. With her talent,
determination and passion of design, I’m sure we will continue
to see great things from Victoria Sdoukos.
