What happens when you take a cigar box, a little creativity and put it together—the YADO Original Cigar Box Handbag. The company is operated by a creativity-driven brother/sister team, Kelly Cerrito and Ryan O’Day ( Ryan’s last name spelled backwords is Yado). “I tinkered around, built a proto-type and Kelly (his sister/business partner), wore it out that night”, says O’Day. And as they say, the rest is history.

From the creator’s standpoint of the YADO Original Cigar Box Handbags, they are fortunate to have the box carry most of the design weight. They choose gold or silver accoutrements and the interior lining and the box does the rest. “Good inspirations are fleeting, inspiring me to create subtle changes to an already great product. Colors of the seasons bring out guidance, as well as a good visit to the spa,” says co-designer Kelly Cerrito. Since there are many cigar boxes, including types and brands, there are many different design possibilities and bag personalities.

The YADO Original Cigar Box Handbag says a lot about the woman wearing it. It says that you are looking to differentiate yourself with a unique product, making you an individual with a keen sense of style. You can dress it up or dress it down, depending on your mood or where you’re going. “If you have found this handbag, you have found one more piece of a styling ensemble that sets you apart from the norm,”says Ryan O’Day.

And, the designing duo are not just doing the cigar box handbag, they are beginning to venture into accessories. Currently they are creating antique belt buckles accented with Swarovski Crystals and other semi-precious stones. They are planning to start designing necklaces with antique depictions.
