What: Chicago’s most renowned chefs and restaurants, along with numerous respected sommeliers, celebrate this 3rd annual event, presented by Gourmet magazine, benefiting Slow Food (www.slowfoodchicago.org). This interactive evening includes a variety of wine and food tastings, live cooking demonstrations, entertaining and informative discussions and seminars.
Who: Sara Moulton (Gourmet’s Executive Chef) and a ground breaking Chef lab featuring Homaro Cantu (Moto), plus a collection of Chicago’s culinary giants, including John Caputo (Bin 36), Christophe David (Nomi), David Di Gregorio (Osteria Via Stato), Jonathan Harootunian (Courtright’s Restaurant), Kevin Hickey (The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago), Paul Kahan (Blackbird), Drue Kennedy (Vivere), Michael Kornick (MK) Ambarish Lulay (Kendall College), Ryan Poli (Butter), Ben Roche (Moto) and Missy Robbins (Spiaggia), as well as Paul Virant (Vie). Talented sommeliers, such as Michael Green (Gourmet Wine & Spirits Consultant), Brian Duncan (Bin 36), Belinda Chang (Osteria Via Stato), and Scott Tyre (Tru) will be there, as well.
