The Green Tie Ball (a.k.a the-best-black tie-gala)
in Chicago was held on Saturday, September 20th, 2003 at A. Finkl
and Sons (2011 N. Southport Ave.). Where else can you feel sin-full,
sexy and all-out V.I.P, all the while helping beautify Chicago, than
at this annual event? Over 3,000 attendees were wowed by Casino’s,
free-flowing spirits, amazing food, and entertainment – an Elvis
impersonator, a fire-blazing show and a real wedding were highlights.
This year’s them, “The Strip,” presented by The
Palms Casino Resort & N9NE Group. “The Green Tie Ball gets
bigger and better every year, and this year’s theme will undoubtedly
combine the glitz and glamour from both Las Vegas and Chicago,”
says Susanna Homan of “Susanna’s Night Out” in the
Chicago Sun-Times and Red Streak.
Just imagine 70 of your ultimate favorite
restaurants (and some you’ve been dying to try) all in one
place. Definitely an event you shouldn’t have missed. The
Green Tie Ball is a fund-raiser for Chicago Gateway Green. Gala
tickets were $125 and VIP tickets $250. For more information visit
