Trendy dance club Transit, 1431 W. Lake Street, featured [Captive] on Thursday, April 4, 2002. A night of fashion began from 9:00- 10:30 as guests enjoyed a VIP Cocktail Reception. The Fashion Underground Runway Presentation began at 11p.m, which featured Chicago's most cutting edge fashion designers, including a few of my favorites, Glam by Antonio Rentas - hair and make-up by Antonio and Shiho Tonoshima - hair and make-up by Neil Culpepper and Gabriel Addiel.

Rentas showcased an amazing section of the show, with his creation of flowing dresses ornamented with silk flowers. Everything was perfect, from the music he chose to the models and the way he instructed their moves - slow and seductive.

Tonoshima created an uplifting mood to the show, paying tribute to Moulin Rouge. Models sashayed down the runway in sexy Moulin Rouge-esque inspired dresses. Long pearls, intricate detailed lace and lace top thigh highs created a stir.
