Halle & Gabriel
Their Model Romance

Just one day after a New York City paper changed its take on Halle Berry's model beau, Gabriel Aubrey, 30, from cheating cad to lovesick catch, the actress, 39, proudly showed off her man on NYC's Fifth Avenue. As the pair, who met in October while shooting ads for Versace, strolled, "they seemed to be chuckling over private jokes." And when the duo headed over to Barneys New York department store, Berry pointed out some new threads for him to check out. Not that the Montreal native needs fashion tips: Aubrey has been modeling for the likes of Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger for seven years. But he didn't seem to mind having an Oscar winner as a personal shopper, says an onlooker. "You could see they have a real connection." US WEEKLY

Begging Helps

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. As Page Six reported last month, Bruce Willis was very eager to get tsunami model Petra Nemcova's number - finally scoring it after he donated a large amount to her charity. Since then, the two have kept in touch. Nemcova has told pals: "He's been really sweet to me, but I wouldn't call it dating," while Willis has told pals the two are dating. A rep for Nemcova declined to comment. We'll see if she shows up to the premiere of "16 Blocks" tonight.

Hollywould Night's

(PALM BEACH)
Hollywould designer Holly Dunlap lured New York chicettes away from chilly Manhattan last night, with warm Florida skies, 151 proof rum and dancing parrots. “It was just an excuse to go to Palm Beach and drink mojitos in the name of work,” Dunlap joked. Sponsored by Bacardi and Gauthier Jewelry, many of the girls like Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler sported Scott Gauthier’s stunning, hand-crafted architectural designs. We also spotted Lori Bernstein, Merrill Debbs, Cornelia Ercklentz, Piper Quinn, Debbie Maschmeyer, Jessica McGruder, Missy Savage and PR powerhouse Peggy Siegal. THE DAILY

Cream of the crop

It was a cold night Saturday, but it was off-the-charts-hot at the Twinkie factory! That's right, the Twinkie factory. Chicago VIPs flocked to a bash inside an old Hostess factory on Diversey Avenue, hosted by real estate mogul Barry Schain. I rolled in with Jesse Jackson Jr. and my crew, including my assistant Kate Major. Once inside, Jackson whipped off his jacket and rocked out to Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.

Later, the congressman looked on as mrskin.com Marketing Director Derek Meklir made fried Twinkies on a stick into the early-morning hours. Jackson was a big fan of the homemade pastry. Meanwhile, legendary Chicago Board of Trade bond trader Tom Baldwin was burning up the dance floor at the Mardi Gras-themed party, which featured stacks of hay and—random!—two live chickens, chillin' in the corner. Oscar Guide

Palestinian terrorists. Gay cowboys. Alcoholic writers. What do these, and the subjects of the other Oscar-nominated Best Picture films, have in common? Why, LA, of course! Maybe the smog is clouding our vision, but everywhere we look in this magic town we see the themes of this year’s Oscar contenders. LA.COM

Adrianne Curry's Playboy

Adrianne Curry, star of My Fair Brady with fiance Peter Brady (aka Christopher Knight) and winner of America's Next Top Model (season 1) was in Chicago last month to celebrate the launch of her Playboy Magazine debut. She partied it up at Crobar in Chicago, being quite the sport - signing autographs for fans (on what else, but her Playboy issue) in between hanging out with family and friends (she's originally from Joliet, Illinois) and dancing the night away. Earlier that month our friends at Sutra Lounge in Costa Mesa, California spotted the reality-tv star, where she hosted a huge party to celebrate her February cover of Playboy Reggie Bush (USC Runningback & this years Heisman Trophy winner) attended the event, as did Daniel Sunjata ("Rescue Me" & "All My Children") and Mike Lombardi ("Rescue Me"). Sutra Lounge is an ultra hot spot as Adrianne was spotted there yet again at Jaime Pressly's fashion show in November 2005.
