How To: Nicole Kidman’s 2010 SAG Awards "Beach Hair"

With Kidman’s natural beauty, she was more than able to pull off this bohemian style look.  Babaii’s inspiration for Kidman’s look was a vintage wig that he had found. Colorist Lorri Goddard-Clark, then matched Kidman’s hair color to the color of the vintage wig with warm ginger toffee red. Babaii created the look by gently towel drying Kidman’s hair and spraying it with Bohemian Beach spray. Babaii then used his hands to create the texture throughout her hair and then taking a ceramic curling iron, wrapping the hair in the barrel, creating “V” shaped partings. To finish the look Babaii did a combing effect throughout the hair and added more Bohemian Beach spray to loosen the curls, while still highlighting Kidman’s new rich hair color.
