Melissa's Training with Equinox: The Last 3 Sessions
Ok, the results are in and I am very pleased. Since starting my training at Equinox 6 weeks ago, I have lost a total of 10 lbs and 2% body fat thanks to my trainer Traci! And really the secret is in what I have been doing with her for my last 3 sessions. It consisted of spurts of really intense cardio (for say 3-5 minutes each) and then repetitive exercises with weights that would either target a particular muscle group or exercises that would work large muscles and my entire body. Traci is a big fan of lunges, squats and many times walking lunges with free weights. These exercises would keep me sore for days, but would also help me burn fat while not working out - a true bonus as an editor that is at a desk all day! I would highly recommend training at Equinox and I look forward to continuing on my quest for a healthy lifestyle. Even after the training is done, Traci is having me come in for a weigh in at the end of April to ensure that those intense sessions didn't go to waste. And, after a month of training that is this intense, I want to keep going to meet my goals!
