New York Fashion week welcomes The GreenShows Eco-Fashion Week to its line up. The two-day event is committed to eco-friendly, ethically sound, fair-trade fashion in New York City. Extremely eco-conscious designers such as, Bodkin, Izzy Lane, Bahar Shahpar, House Of Organic, Lara Miller (Chicago's own!), Mr. Larkin, and STUDY by Tara St. James designed all of the collections that will be showcased at the King of Green Street. “The GreenShows is designed to foster and support eco-designers to continue creating fashion and as a platform to bring eco-fashion mainstream,” said Eric Dorfman, Founder of EdMedia Inc. and The GreenShows. Not only are all the designs eco-friendly, but the event in total will go to great lengths to be sure the entire production is 100% green. The event takes place on September 15-16 and has high hopes to bring green fashion to the attention of the entire fashion community.
