We check out festival fashion at the 20th Anniversary of Lollapalooza.
The rain may have came down in buckets on the 20th anniversary of Lollapalooza's final night, but over 270,000 music lovers were showered with acts by 140 different artists. Festival goers soaked up the sounds of newcomers like Ellie Goulding, Foster the People and Local Natives while relishing the space Grant Park had to offer. As much as it is about the music, Lollapalooza is just as known for its fashion. Festival fashion is no easy feat, but it looked like some attendees had it down pat. It's an art, festival dressing, to cater to all types of weather and look chic. Festival frocks consisted of bandannas, bandeaus and cut-off shorts- the shorter the hemlines, the better. Under the heat of the Chicago sun, concert-goers wore next to nothing to stay relatively cool long enough to see the headliners each night, which included Coldplay, Eminem and the Foo Fighters.
