Best known for his mature and dramatic eveningwear, the collection did not disappoint.

With Sting’s "Desert Rose” playing in the background, Malaysian designer Zang Toi sent a theatrical North African inspired collection down the runway.The highly sophisticated collection of evening gowns in black satin and cobalt blue, sweaters accentuated with sapphire beading, sleek pantsuits and gold-bordered “goddess” coats each told a stunning story of exceptional craftsmanship. An unrecognizable Kirstie Alley closed the show in a jewel-encrusted floor-length coatdress to rousing applause. Model Petra Nemcova, TV personalities Ramona Singer, Angela Simmons, actress Nyasha Zimucha and actor Eric West, were amongst the slew of celebrities in attendance. -Natalie Kuan
