Rachel Roy is set to unveil a new collaboration for part of Macy’s upcoming “Brasil: A Magical Journey” promotion, which also in turn features Francisco Costa’s Impulse collection.
She teamed up with Seu Jorge, a Brazilian singer, through her lower-priced Rachel Rachel Roy line. Even though the pairing is an unlikely one, she states that “I just vibed with him. Seu is smart and very talented, and when he agreed to work with me, I thought it was the prefect way to introduce a rock star to my Macy’s girls.” There will be a collection of bags, dresses, and booties that will sell in Macy’s O Mercado, a shop that opens on April 22.
