Richie Rich, Tinsley Mortimer and Robert Verdi Attend Duracell's Green Party
We’ve all heard of the green thumb, but thanks to Duracell’s Green Party on December 9th in the Meat Packing District in NYC, New Yorkers will have green feet from pedaling. Duracell has embraced pedal power to light the numbers on the Times Square ball this New Year's Eve (Duracell is using people power to illuminate the 2011 numerals).
This year, Duracell was calling out to fashion insiders to promote re-chargeable energy as a fashionable alternative and therefore, star power was no shortage at this event, from Richie Rich, and Tinsley Mortimer who put the pedal to metal. With each push, their energy was captured and converted into usable power, and then routed and stored at Duracell Battery Centers. Who said batteries were boring? - Vanessa Lambert
