Fashion lovers from all over the city headed over to the West Loop for a very chic night of fashion, food and art held by Gen Art on Thursday, February 11th. Held at the Dubhe Carreño Gallery from 7pm-10pm, the evening included a live model installation featuring C/FAN clothing from designer Christina Fan, the hostess for the night, in silks, wools and velvets. The models also sported extremely edgy makeup and jewelry that really pulled their looks together. Along with the clothes came an interesting exhibition of clay sculptures towards the back of the gallery with a ton of white lit-up umbrellas hanging overhead. Appetizers were provided by Grocery and Via Carducci, with cheese and bread provided by August. There were a set of DJs spinning upbeat tracks together and a bar featuring wine and champagne that guests sipped as the mingled with an exclusive group of people from the Chicago fashion industry. - Emily Ekern
