Accessory Style Lounge

On Thursday, October 21st, Studio-808, Vitamin Water Zero, and yours truly, Factio Magazine, collaborated to put on a gorgeous Accessory Style Lounge event at the Hard Rock Hotel featuring the fall 2010 and spring 2011 designs by Agnes B. Miles, Lesley Timpe, Lisa Spagnolo, Julie Schwanbeck, Sophia Forero, and Susan Elizabeth.

Upon entering the Lounge Bar, the first eye-catcher was the mannequin in the center of the room wearing a long dress made out of Factio magazines. The atmosphere was fun and chic with tunes by DJ Megan Taylor of Fig Media to match. Once checking in, Vitamin Water reps greeted you with your choice of one of the many flavors.

At the Style Lounge, there was an eclectic presentation of accessories like the clutches by Lisa Spagnolo with feminine floral designs and a multitude of fall colors like burnt orange, yellow, and red. The hair clips and headbands from Agnes B. Miles Love, Lulu Mae collection were flirtatiously filled with feathers, pearls and jewels in a 1940s inspired theme. Jewelry included the classic designs from the Jules collection, the modern and art inspired themes by Susan Elizabeth, and the very Greek inspired and hand-sewn designs by Sophia Forero. Lesley Timpe’s Squasht Collection of hats and headbands showed perfect for the fall city weather with darker colors, cap-like themes, and cute floral headbands.

And this wasn’t just an event for women either; there were also a few men’s accessories as well. All of the six designers’ collections were fun, very original, and extremely different from one another making for a very enjoyable shopping experience at the Style Lounge!
