FACTIO MEDIA – ABOUT US

Factio Media was founded in 2002 with its online website www.factio-magazine.com and is the go-to site for fashion, events, galas, trends and more on the web. In 2005, RunwaytoRetail.com was launched as another website that serves both the consumer industry and the trade industry on the fashion and retail business. In September of 2006, Factio Media launched a quarterly publication, Factio Magazine, bringing the creative and luxury content to an oversized print format. Each quarter we pair fashion and style with mediums such as architecture and interior design for our winter edition, art for our spring edition, which debuts right before Art Chicago. For our fall issue, out during Chicago’s Fashion Focus, our focus is all fashion, as we are the official online sponsor of the fashion week and our summer issue ties in the best travel and beauty.

PRINT

Factio Magazine’s print version is an oversized glossy and is the go-to publication for all things fashion – upscale events, galas, trends and more. Our target is the young, hip professional, who is on the pulse of luxury in the city of Chicago. Our magazine is large at 10” by 15”. This unique size gets our advertisers attention time and time again. Our controlled distribution is over 25,000 and our print magazine is a quarterly.

ONLINE

Factio-Magazine.com was named one of Chicago’s best fashion websites in February of 2008, stating “Melissa Maynard launched www.factio-magazine.com in 2002 as a way to showcase Chicago boutique openings, local and national designers, and videos of designers. Subscribers to the free e-mail get VIP invites to parties.”

Our website is truly the first on the scene for some of the industries most important fetes, including Prada’s private party, galas like the Lyric Opera Ball and the Children’s Ball and much more. Our site receives over 60,000 unique visitors a week. We also regularly update our event listings.
