1. Case Study: Target's Bullseye Bazaar Attracted Celebs - Factio Media was hired by Target to bring VIP's and fashionistas to an exclusive pop-up store for their opening night event. Celebrities in attendance included Private Practice’s Kate Walsh and Gossip Girl co-stars Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick.

Details: Fashionistas faced the rainy weather last night in Chicago to find out what Target's Bullseye Bazaar pop-up store was all about during an exclusive party for about 250 VIP guests. After walking into this Michigan Ave. 3-day store, we realized where they have been hiding spring. Flowers checkered floors and baskets full of fruit were just some of the décor aspects of this classy discounter. We spotted the high-end crowd walking around with Target baskets filled with merchandise in one hand and the specialty Bullseye cocktail in the other. With all of the shopping, passed hors d’oeuvres were flowing to get you through the night. Small spring rolls, mini hamburgers, shrimp corndogs, and warm chocolate donuts were there to still your hunger…or your champagne rush. Private Practice’s Kate Walsh and Gossip Girl co-stars Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick showed up and were lovely as ever. They mingled and shopped just like the rest of us! Tracy Feith’s summer collection won’t be out in stores for weeks – but it's available at the Bullseye Bazaar! The collection draws inspiration from Feith’s surfer background and showed us patterns and prints that make you want to have a picnic in the park! The  Erickson Beamon jewelry and the Jemma Kidd cosmetic selection were not safe from us, but either was the assortment of dips and sauces from Archer Farms – let the BBQ season begin! 2. Case Study: The Official After Art Party of Art Chicago Produced by Factio Media Factio Media has been hired by Art Chicago for 4 years to produce an art event where we bring our list of high-end, young professionals. The event has garnered a ton of press including event planning magazine Biz Bash and was named "hottest after party at Art Chicago" by the Chicago Sun-Times.

ART ROCKS

Details: Over 300 art enthusiasts attended the Factio Magazine-hosted, official After Art Party for Art Chicago at Lumen, located in Chicago’s meatpacking district. The stellar host committee read like the who's who of the fashion and art worlds with names like fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, editor-in-chief Melissa Maynard, socialite Candace Jordan and Elite's Kasia Koniar, along with artist Michael Brucks and Christine Sanderson. This year’s theme ART ROCKS went in a different direction than last year’s Bowler Hat Art Party, with the event featuring digital art as the main focus. Still painter Michael Brucks teamed up with Liviu Pasare of Stoptime341 Productions, which gave his painting a cool 3-D effect. Sin-R8 showcased digital painting, where guests could even take part in creating their own work.  The Illinois Institute of Art showcased their media show that their top-tier students created in digital arts and animation. Corzo Tequila provided complimentary signature cocktails -The Corzo Violette Fizz, Corzo White Grape and Elderflower, and Corzo Modern Margarita. Fig Media dj’s Alvin Black and Tim Musho played a mix of beats in line with the ART ROCKS theme, while Factio staffers handed out complimentary Shutter Shades in hues like lime green, bright yellow and glow-in-the-dark white. The event further celebrated art in Chicago with the release of Factio Magazine’s latest spring art edition. The mag featured fabulous local artists, fashion designers, and the hottest art/fashion events. Guests left with gift bags that included complimentary passes to Art Chicago and full size tubes of cheek/lip stain.

Case Study: Winter Issue Launch Party - Factio Media publishes a full size glossy magazine as well to round out several multi-media opportunities within the company (including web, e-mail marketing and events). Details: The snow hit the ground once again, just in time for the Factio winter issue launch party held on February 19th. The subtle evening set by candlelight in the Versailles-esque Crimson Lounge focused around the latest issue launch. Put on by Maven's weekly event, The Diva Series, the event celebrated with host Melissa Maynard, Factio's editor-in-chief and those featured in the latest issue, including jewelry designer Dana Levy, marketing exec Meghan Goulette, interior designer Michelle Williams, and socialite and blogger Candace Jordan!

Guests gathered in intimate corners and velvet booths to catch up with each other and the latest home/style fashions from Factio. Bubbly champagne and rich wines poured glass after glass as guests celebrated through the night.
