elizabethW
elizabethW sleeps with Oprah, handles Paula Abdul’s dirty laundry, and gets lit by Christina Aguleria, with all of these seemingly scandalous activities you’d expect elizabethW to be on the cover of gossip magazines, not flying off the shelves of Neiman Marcus. Celebrities just can’t get enough of the San Franscisco-based bath, body and home fragrance brand, elizabethW.
Former architect, Albert Nichols, founded the perfumery 12 years ago with the goal of providing quality fragrances using superior ingredients. He modelled his company after his great-grandmother Elizabeth Wightman, who commanded her Sierra Nevada while maintaining an heir of shophistication.
Today elizabethW embodies the spirit of Nichols’ grandmother, the beautifully scented drawer liners, candels, lingerie bags and designer soaps are reminiscent her simple elegance.
Although ElizabethW is already widely distributed throughout designer boutiques, department stores and resorts, Nichols and his partne, Michael Lindsay, are working on moving elizabethW into a global brand. The two aim to expand business while maintaining the family-centric priciples that their company was founded upon.
All of the products are designed and created on-site in the San Franscisco workshop. Nichol’s uses his architecture background to create the delicate packaging. October marks the 12th anniversary of the popular brand.
