Tips on "Staying Fit for the Holidays"

Factio Magazine talks to Paper Magazine's Editor-at-Large Peter Davis on how to stay fit during party season.

FACTIO MAGAZINE: What are your tips on staying fit during the holidays?
PETER DAVIS: I am the worst eater. I could live on wedding cake, donuts and chocolate, if it wouldn't make me eventually sick to my stomach. I eat mostly what I want, but the trick is to hit the Chic-quinox (my  Equinox is half a block from me in NYC) five times a week and run on the treadmill at 7.7 for 45 minutes. I run as if an axe murderer is chasing me and I listen to Lady Gaga or the Clash as it helps me stay at fast pace.

FM: Do you have a special meal plan?

PD: To stay skinny-chic (but not scary chic) I cut out all white stuff - bread, pasta, cake. It's a bummer, but you never have flab.

FM: What is your typical workout at Equinox?
PD: I do a prison/army style workout. I do 100 ab crunches (ouch!), push ups, pull ups and running, stairs and lots of reps of free weights that aren't too heavy or you get bulky like the guys on Tool Academy.
