Zoe Farrell – With a solid foundation in the fashion, advertising and entertainment industries, Zoe Farrell combines analytical skill with insight to create concrete brand platforms and effective marketing and publicity strategies. She began her career at Grey Advertising, working with clients such as MGM, ABC and Showtime. She then moved over to CAA, where she facilitated deal making and talent promotion. Zoe most recently founded the brand development firm MediaRiot, consulting on marketing and publicity campains for such clients as AG Jeans, Henry Duarte, Ona Spa and The Beverly Hilton Hotel. She then was working as an account director for LA events/media relations firm Couch and Nobelius. Now in New York, Zoe is with Dan Klores Communications working with clients such as Coach and Tommy Hilfiger.
 
Factio Magazine: What are your style tips for holiday dressing?
Zoe Farrell: SIMPLE, CLASSIC, FEMININE PIECES TO BE DRESSED UP WITH FUN, GLAMOROUS ACCESSORIES... CHUNKY RINGS, LONG LAYERED NECKLACES, VINTAGE SHOES & HANDBAGS, ETC...

FM: What key fashion pieces do you have your eye on this season?
ZF: ANYTHING CHLOE!

FM: What's your biggest fashion vice. What do you have to have every season? And, what did you have to have this season?
ZF: SHOES. I ALWAYS BUY A GREAT PAIR OF WINTER BOOTS, AND THIS YEAR THEY WERE THE DRES VAN NOTEN LACE UP KNEE HIGH BOOTS. DRES VAN NOTEN MAKES SOME OF MY FAVORITE SHOES.

FM: What's a fashion no-no, when attending special events, galas, and more?
ZF: OVER DRESSING FOR THE OCCASION. I'D RATHER BE SLIGHTLY UNDERDRESSED THAN OVERDRESSED, AND YOU NEVER WANT TO OUTSHINE THE HOST/HOSTESS. 

FM: What's your signature style?
ZF: VERY CLASSIC BUT WITH AN EDGE. I LIKE TO PAIR BASIC JEAN AND T-SHIRTS OR A NICE SIMPLE SKIRT AND SWEATER WITH AN UNEXPECTED PAIR OF BRIGHT SHOES OR A FUNKY JACKET. MIXING BASICS WITH EXPENSIVE PIECES.

FM: Define the style in your city. Which ladies from which city worldwide do you think has or had the most impeccable style?
ZF: NEW YORK... NEW YORKERS TEND TO DRESS MORE ECLECTIC, AND REALLY SHOW OFF THEIR SENSE OF INDIVIDUAL STYLE, BUT I THINK ITALIAN WOMEN HAVE TRULY FANTASTIC ORIGINAL TASTE!

FM: How fast can you get ready for an event? Any tips?
ZF: I CAN GET READY FOR AN EVENT IN ½ HOUR IF NEED BE. I THINK THE KEY IS FRESH LOOKING MAKE UP. IF IT'S THE ONLY THING YOU DO, TAKE THE TAKE TIME TO WASH AND MOISTURIZE YOUR FACE AND APPLY A FRESH FACE OF MAKE UP. YOU ALWAYS FEEL BETTER.

FM: What would people be most surprised to know about you?
ZF: THAT I'M A SENTIMENTAL PACK RAT WHEN IT COMES TO MY CLOTHING. I JUST CAN'T THROW ANYTHING AWAY!
