Chicago...My Kind of TownChicago - Thursday, September 23, Chicagoans came out to support one of the oldest fashion shows – the 78th annual fashion show, Chicago…My Kind of Town, presented by the Woman’s Board of Rush University Medical Center and benefiting children with epilepsy – seeking to raise 500,000.

Mary Ann Childers and Jay Levine of CBS-2 hosted the event.Local and nationally known celebrities and other well-known Chicagoans modeled the latest collections of Prada, YSL, Nordstrom, Oilily, Luca Luca, Marshall Field’s, MaxMara, Ultimo, Tiffany & Co., to name a few.

There were approximately 150 models, which included John Paxson of the Chicago Bulls and White Sox general manger Kenny Williams and his wife Jessica, political figures like Illinois first lady Patti Blagojevich and Nora Daley Conroy. Celebrity surprises including Joan Cusack, Nate Berkus and local celebrities including Hazel Barr, Diann Burns, Anna Davlantes, Robert Jordan and many others.

Chicago…My Kind of Town was held at the Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago. Tickets ranged from $25-$150.
