The Stoli Hotel

Grand Opening of the Stoli Hotel
in Chicago

Temperatures dropped the night of the Grand Opening of the Stoli Hotel in Chicago, adding to the Russian ambience of the temporary nightclub venue. Inspired by the label’s Hotel Moskva in Russia on the Stoli label, the 20,000 square feet accommodated the over 800 people who enjoyed the spa, bars and entertainment in the remodeled warehouse at 240 N. Ashland Ave., on Oct. 10 at 8 p.m.

Open bars, some shaped like the ‘painted onion domes’ of St. Basil’s Cathedral in the town center of Red Square in Moscow, featured a variety of martinis and cocktails, including the Stoli Suite Upgrade Martini, the evening’s signature beverage.

Spa services, provided by Spa on the Go, “The Spa Party Specialist,” ranged from a basic manicure to facial rejuvenation. All treatments were free, however most reservation times were booked by 9:00 p.m.

Although the hotel does not house guests it still has colorful rooms themed after different Stoli vodkas. Armchairs, beds and sofas complete the décor of the Stoli Vanil, Orange, Blueberry and Raspberry rooms. Chic white and silver line the VIP room themed after Stolichnaya Elite, their premium vodka.

DJ Mom Jeans and DJ Mr. Scruffs entertained Chicago’s social nightlife with music throughout the night. The Stoli Hotel first opened in Los Angeles last May. The hotel will be open every night in Chicago until Oct. 27, but you have to be on the list by reservation to get in. The Stoli Hotel will re-locate for temporary stays next in Miami and then San Francisco, California and New York City.
