Boy Meets Girl and DEESH Happens
By Danielle Vega

Stacy Morgenstern has been a designer since she was just three years old. Her designs have come a long way since the crooked houndstooth skirt she made at the age of six.

During college at UW-Madison, her career began to take off when she sold her designs to a store she worked at part time. Since then, Stacy’s line, Deesh Designs, has transformed into a popular clothing company for women of all ages to feel comfortable, sexy, and cute all at the same time.

Actresses like Mischa Barton, Lauren Graham, Kelly Ripka, Gabrielle Union and Jenna Malone to rocker girls The Donnas to the cast of America’s Next Top Model can’t get enough of it.

There is no mistaking Deesh Design’s signature BOY MEETS GIRL line that has a logo silhouette of Stacy and her fiancé when they were kids. The logo speaks to every style, from vintage to urban, from flirty to hip. Capturing an innocent spark between boy and girl, the adorable line of tees, tanks, totes and thongs is perfect for anyone who is a true romantic. The BOY MEETS GIRL logo can even be personalized with your name and your significant other's name.

Stacy, being a designer who doesn’t like to focus on just one thing, also includes DEESH RIBBON CINCH and DEESH COUTURE COMFORT as part of the Deesh brand. People know Stacy for being the “ribbon girl,” which is one of the reasons why she created DEESH RIBBON CINCH. DEESH COUTURE COMFORT takes ideas from the past and reinvents them into patterns that are up-to-date with the use of trims, yet classic enough to last more then just one season.

Deesh’s Fall 2005 collection may just be the best one yet. Rich, sultry hues set the tone for the collection inspired by crisp autumn weather and evenings by a cozy fireplace. The versatile style of mix and match items designed to take women from day to evening with fun are perfect for layering and keeping warm during the cooler months of the year.

Deesh’s signature silhouettes including square trim tops, ribbon cinch tops and tunics are offered in a fall color palette of Brick Wall (shades of brown and burgundy), Wine (shades of chocolate brown and light brown), Olive (shades of olive and khaki), and Lipstick. Stacy has also added sequins to stimulate the scintillating effect of a shimmering night sky.

The “Breezy Blazer” ($125.00) is a must-have classic for fall. The updated version of the traditional blazer style is adorned with faux leopard fur. Colors will include Khaki, Chocolate, Spruce Green and Pink.

Deesh Designs are available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Gold Kiosk (in the Delano Hotel) and Bellarose or by logging on to www.deeshdesigns.com.
