An Active Infidelity Pact

On a perfect July evening in Lincoln Park, guests gathered at Active Endeavor's Armitage location to celebrate the release of author Carrie Karasyov's latest book, The Infidelity Pact. Karasyov's racy new novel centers around four socialites who make a pact with each other to have affairs in the next year. The other's husbands, of course, are off-limits. What follows is the juicy, hilarious tale of these desperate LA housewives and the chaos their plan unleashes.

So if the dangerous title and plot weren't enough to tempt guests inside the upscale boutique, the Grey Goose sponsored Infidelitinis (Grey Goose Pear, apple juice and grenadine) and the promise of 20% off any purchase certainly packed the two-story shop. Well-dressed women of all ages (and even a few men!) crowded into the second-floor soirée, mingling and chatting with the charming author and other attendees. And even if they managed to refrain from the tempting, designer-laced walls of Active Endeavors, most guests
at least left with the perfect beach day accessory—a signed copy of
The Infidelity Pact.
