Just when it seems like the Gold Coast can’t get any better, the ultimate wild child of American fashion comes storming in to make his mark – or shall we say, Marc. That’s right, ladies and gents, Marc Jacobs International signed a 10-year agreement with First Elysian Properties for a Marc Jacobs Collection boutique in the Elysian Chicago. We can already see the hordes of fashionistas migrating from the recently opened Wicker Park Marc by Marc store to pay credit card homage at the new and glorious 2,700 sq. ft. shrine for some serious MJ lovin.’
If that’s not worth a trip to Chicago, nothing is.
