With miles of shopping, a nearly endless supply of one-of-a-kind boutiques, and up-and-coming designers aplenty, it’s not as if you need another reason to shop Chicago, but what’s one more; introducing, Shop Walk. Offering walking tours through Chicago’s most stylish neighborhoods, Shop Walk takes deliberate detours into the most exclusive boutiques. Whether you want to uncover Chicago, enjoy a day with the girls, or find that something special, Shop Walk has the tour for you.
The Made in Chicago Designer Tour is for all things strictly Chicago. The tour will not only make stops at boutiques but private studios and sample sales too. Tour goers get a special insider look and if they’re lucky meet the designer too!
For girls on a mission there’s the Hunter
Gather Tour. This private, customized tour will escort any group to all the places and
parts of town where they’re sure to find that something special.
The Windy Neighborhood Boutiques Tour fully uncovers the nuances of one of Chicago’s charming neighborhoods including Bucktown, Lincoln Park, the West Loop, Old Town, and Ukrainian Village. Tour goers can expect to make stops in both boutiques (for refreshing styles) and coffee shops (for refreshing drinks)!
Experience a new way to celebrate the bride-to-be and her big day whether it be a bachelorette party, bridal shower, or entertaining out-of-town guests with the Bachelorette Bustier Tour stopping into all the “hottest” storefronts in town.
Tour goers will not only score great finds, but great deals as well; champagne toasts, chocolate covered strawberries, gift bags and gift cards are just some of the perks of shopping with Shop Walk.
Shop Walk owner Danielle Lutz brought this business to the Windy City after experiencing a similar gastronomy and gift tour in Paris while traveling the U.S. and abroad. “I wanted to create something like that in Chicago,” Lutz explains, “Unique shops can often be hit or miss, but the pleasure of a discovery is unparallel.” Lutz is no stranger to Chicago’s shopping scene. The Chicago native can often be found spending time on the streets, sipping designer lattes from the city’s Cafe de Luca, and stopping in for some shopping of her own at Tangerine or p.45 in Bucktown. As a highly qualified guide, tours starting at $41 for the two hours Windy Neighborhood Tour seem like a steal of their own. That’s right ladies, I said a two hour tour, but you can shop for up to six! For such lengthy excursions Lutz recommends kicking off those stilettos and slipping into some wedge heels, “…that way women are comfortable, but stylish.”
Go ahead and shop, there’s no reason not too! Find out more at www.chicagoshopwalk.com.
