Elite Chicago, the world-renowned model management agency celebrated its 25th anniversary
this year with a lavish party featuring their models at Park West on July 26th. Over 800 of Elite's major models, clients, ad agencies and media, including
Katherine Armenta of American Vogue, Lara Bonomo of Teen Vogue and Monica Pedersen, host of Design to Sell. Party goers all enjoyed a model show with Elite's top catwalkers, catering by Go Roma and drinks courtesy of Peroni, Snow Queen Vodka and H2Vino and gift bags thanks to Factio Magazine.
Jane Stewart, a Chicago native and
self-made entrepreneur, is the woman behind Elite Chicago. In 1980, she opened Stewart Talent Management with Chicago’s top ten models. A few years
later, Elite Model Management asked Stewart to merge her high fashion print agency with New York’s. In 1988, Elite Atlanta was established as a result of the partnership between Elite Model
Management and Stewart Talent
Management. Elite Chicago is responsible for developing the careers of supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Liya Kebede and
Michelle Monaghan. Representing women for print and runway, Elite Chicago is known for its personal service and
excellent eye for discovering and
developing new talent.
Elite’s simple strategy is to pair
carefully selected, qualified models with the highest level of management and service. Models can attend classes and one-on-one sessions lead by
professionals who help them develop their careers. Elite discovers hidden talents by holding daily open calls at the agency and going on frequent scouting events. In celebration of their 25th anniversary, Elite Chicago will host a number of glamorous events this year, so stay tuned! www.elitechicago.com
